I thoroughly enjoyed reading this really pretty, yet powerful little book! ...This book, along with it’s dainty pink with white polka dot pages, and quick-to-read chapters, is filled to the brim with wisdom and real life experience to help the reader overcome the stressors of life. ...It’s messages are way more important and fulfilling.
Just a side note; this book is spiritual. There is reference to God and scripture in almost every chapter. Whether you are spiritual or not really shouldn’t make a difference. This book was written to help and help it does. I was able to utilize much of the wise information in the book to assist with my desire to “revive.” I also found other information that reinforced my goals and gave me added “hope” that my efforts can and will be accomplished! By focusing on the overall message of this book, you will get your own “fistful of chocolate” and so much more!
This is a great inspirational book. Coty has included lots of encouragement from Scripture, lots of examples from people's lives, and has sprinkled it all with humor.
Coty has a light, breezy style with some gentle, clean humour devoid of any edge. If you are looking for a sweet book ( a gift book, perhaps?), this might be the perfect idea--- tied with a bit of chocolate and with the promise of discussing its wisdom after each nugget has been exhumed and pondered.
This is a funny yet meaningful book. You will find yourself laughing and learning as you read these well written pages. I gave this book 5/5 stars. I thought the author did very well at breaking down the different fears and the categories they fall into. I liked how the book was non-judgmental and had excellent Scripture reference to back up the topic she was highlighting. I would recommend this book for any woman who has more fears then not! You will enjoy the book as well as learn from it.
With somewhat sarcastic humor and amusing personal stories, this is the perfect book to appeal to both teens and mothers. It's fun reading with pragmatic advice and a book I recomment for anyone who struggles with worry and fear of the unknown.
